Value Project- Drawing (In-Progress)

1. How did you develop craft with this assignment?
    - My perspective of the objects need to be the same so that I have the same feel and view of the shoes and how I translate it to my paper.
2. What tools, methods, and materials were essential to your progress so far in the project?
    - All four pencils have helped create the drawing (HB, 2H, 2B, 6B). The lamp has created shadows that I have yet to draw but will help create depth and a better overall picture. The drawing board has also helped me with my accuracy with drawing and helps others have a better angle and more space.
3. What problems have emerged in the creation of this project?
    - I have had problems with the positioning of the objects in relation to one another. Also the spacing of the objects with the entire paper.
4.  How did you solve these problems?
    - I have had help from teachers to help me see the perspective of the objects and the relation to the other objects. also with the thoughts of shading in the drawing.

Value Project- Photography (In-Progress)

1. How did you develop craft with this assignment?
    - I used the film camera to take the pictures of my scene. Using different angles and lighting were essential to create different and better pictures that were to be developed.
2. What tools, methods, and materials were essentials to your process so far in the project?
    - The enlarger was used to create the pictures and different apertures and times were used to create different looks and lighting in the pictures. Also developer and fixer were used to create the print.
3. What problems have emerged in the creation of the this project?
    - In the dark room, the apertures and time of the enlarger had to be changed multiple times to produce better pictures. Also my big print was no perfect as someone opened the box containing the paper in light, contaminating some of the paper. It was really disappointing.
4. How did you solve these problems (or how are you in the process of solving these problems)?
    - The problems with the aperture and lighting were easy fixes and just took time and patience to find the correct combination. The paper that was exposed to light was unfortunate and I need to print the picture again with a new sheet of paper and hope it is not an exposed piece of paper.
